When Should I Schedule Ram Service?
Some Ram services will occur more frequently than others. For example, oil changes will occur around every 5,000 to 7,500 miles, while a Ram battery can last for around five years. For exact maintenance mileage intervals, you can check your owner's manual.
There are also a few signs you can look out for that indicate service is needed:
- Dashboard warning light-Any time a dashboard warning light comes on, you'll want to schedule service. These lights indicate oil changes, engine issues, transmission service, and more.
- Unfamiliar sounds or smells-Anything from a grinding to squealing noise when you hit the brakes could indicate service is needed. You know your car best, so if something feels off, you may need to schedule service.
- Fluid leaks-If you notice a puddle of liquid beneath your vehicle, it could mean there is a fluid leak in your car. Schedule service sooner rather than later to avoid long-term issues.
- Shaking or vibrating-Excessive shaking or vibrating from your car or steering wheel while driving can mean service is needed. It's best to talk to a professional if you notice this.
Any of these signs can indicate that Ram service is needed. If you notice any of these signs while on the road, it's a good idea to schedule service and have our technicians address the issue.
